Brad replaced my gross worn out disposal and put my drain house up correctly from my dishwasher to the disposal. He discovered leaky pipes replaced them, while showing me exactly what was going on under my sink before hand. He tried tightening them first but they still leaked. When he took off one of the main pipes to the sink it was full of gross, nasty food build up. It wasn't even on the side the disposal was on. Everything seems to be working as it is supposed to now, and I no longer have to worry about cross contamination from the disposal to the dishwasher.
brad was happy and very responsive to me. He listened while I talked to him about my issue. He carted away my old toilet and even replaced the water hose that went to the toilet. I am very happy
Brad not only installed 2 new toilets for us but also checked over our hot water heaters and water pressure tank. He even suggested some maintenance we should be doing to our well pump. Thank you Brad!!

Brad and Zach and Reuben did a great job on our utility room. From changing out our water heater to a tankless water heater, to adding a ton more pipes for water to run better, to adding a water softener. Zach did a bunch of work on our kind of messed up HVAC system, and fixed what he could, and will come back again to fix it some more. We have been impressed on every corner, working with these hard workers, and this amazing company! I wouldn’t trust my plumbing and HVAC with anyone else besides Modern Plumbing and Heating. Can’t say enough good things about them.

They were amazing! We needed to move our propane tank and get a new propane line stub-out installed and they went above and beyond to make sure it was done right and passed the inspection. Then they came back and installed a new flex line to our dryer. We worked with Zach and he always took the time to explain stuff and answer questions we had.

I had Zach here to give an estimate for installing some new LED down lights to replace the ugly eyeball can lighting I have now.Edited to add a follow-up. This company was wonderful to work with for my lighting installation. Kurt and his apprentice came on time and spent literally all day here. The plan was for them to install 15 LED ceiling lights, install a replacement ceiling fan and remove the old ceiling fan and fluorescent fixture in my kitchen. They were both very patient, professional, and kind while we worked together to decide where it was best to locate the LED ceiling lights, both in my long living room and in my kitchen. The new lighting gives my home such a warm, cozy, and inviting feeling! It is as if I am outside on a summer day without the heat and UV damage to my skin.My only "issue" is that their ladders caused some scratches and dings in my old Pergo flooring. I would suggest they pad the ladder's feet or keep a floor protector for their next customer's home. We plan to eventually replace our flooring so this isn't a huge issue to us, but if our floors were new, it would have been a costly problem. Aside from that, the installation was professional and looks wonderful. I feel very happy with the resulting look, my experience in working with this company, and the cost to us. We will work with them again in the future when we are ready to get rid of another room's eyeball can lights with these LED lights and move them to a better location.

We were having an issue with our furnace. Modern sent out Calvin to see what our issue was. He was very polite and kept us updated on his arrival. When entering our home, he put on booties. He promptly found the issue and discussed my options with me. We made a plan and he called the warehouse to have the part he needed for the repair set aside. Calvin wasn't able to get the part installed that day but it wasn't that cold yet. He arranged for someone to come out and get the part installed. We had heat! Yay! A few days had passed and the furnace stopped working again. Calvin returned and was able to determine that the vent for the gas burners were not properly draining the water that would build up. He redid the exhaust plumbing and secured it so we wouldn't have this issue again. I was shocked when he pulled out a battery powered vacuum to clean up his mess, going farther than where he worked. I appreciate his hard work and for Modern doing all they can to make sure we can stay warm this winter.
Brad did a good job replacing toilets in my house. After installing and sealing the toilets, Brad spent extra time explaining how to take the lids off so the toilets can be cleaned.

We had Brad come out and bid a job to install a soft water system, sand filter, and whole house filter. He had three different models of water softeners to choose from, from a local manufacturer. We went with the mid-grade system. Brad did a great job on the install, showed us how to operate the system, and ensured that everything was working well before departing. Calvin was on time and promptly identified the problem with the electric furnace. It was quickly fixed and at a reasonable cost. He was friendly, professional and answered questions regarding further upkeep of the furnace. The office secretary was also friendly and informative when I called to make the appointment. The quality service that Brad rendered was TOP NOTCH!! I needed pipes replaced, 4 bathroom faucet, 1 kitchen faucet, and a toilet repaired. Brad worked 7 1/2 without stopping. He is kind, friendly, honest and understands plumbing better than any other plumber I have ever had. Brad is a three generation plumber he started plumbing with his grandpa and dad. He knows his stuff!!! I HIGHLY recommend Brad with any plumbing issues.

He found that another company did not switch our brand new H2O Heater to propane (like they said they did) which ultimately did irreparable damage to it..But it could have turned out MUCH worse than just having to purchase a new one..We are having Modern take care of all our needs and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Modern.

Like to give a huge thanks to Calvin for coming out within a half hour to fix our furnace. When someone took down a power pole last night, not only did the power go out, but it also caused our furnace to refuse to turn back on in the morning. Brad at modern plumbing did a great job in taking out the crazy mess of copper pipes we had in our basement from previous homeowners and was able to install pex into all of water appliances in a neat and organized manner. The company re-started my furnace and recommended replacement of the system, as the new lighter part is hard to come by on an old furnance.

Calvin did a great job when he installed our fire place. He wanted to leave as small as a foot print as possible to our house. He found a way to have us see as little of a gas line as possible. He was very professional and did a great job. Today I had an issue with my thermostat that I was installing and he walked me through a do it myself fix over the phone and it worked, without charging me for a home visit. Will definitely use him and Modern Plumbing for all of our HVAC needs.
